The 5mm long fibers are made of high-quality merino wool and a mixture of synthetic fibers, providing particularly strong cutting ability. You don't have to worry about the heat generated during cutting, because there is a ZviZZer green thermo sponge layer between the cutting surface and the retaining Velcro. Due to its open cells, it has extremely good heat dissipation.
